overall coordination, status reporting and stability of complex cross-
functional work efforts and delivering on time and quality projects/results in
support of Cigna’s Web Platforms. They will be responsible for tracking key
project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources required to
manage WebIT projects and to meet the business need. The candidate must
possess the ability to express oral and written ideas effectively to differing
audiences. Candidate should possess technical skills and proficiencies
preferably in the web space.Responsibilities-Develop and
managemultipledetailed resource-loaded Microsoft Project work plans-
Responsible for providing project leadership and coordination on the webIT
development project in the design, development, and assembly of services-
Ensuring adherence and compliance to WebIT standards and policies throughout
the project lifecycle-Communicate and ensure compliance with software
development processes-Resolve dependencies, issues, and risks when escalated-
Manage issues as required-Provide timely communication of project status,
performance results, issues and risks to schedule, cost and quality-
Coordinate, document, and facilitate project workgroup meetings-Writes status
reports, assesses risks and mitigates issues.-Execute plans to continuously
improve the organizationQualifications:-Strong project management/leadership
background. Proven track record of delivering on large scale or multiple
projects. Experience overseeing all aspects of the project, including
planning, resource allocation, budget, project design and
execution.-Experience working with Portal projects.-Strong technical
experience in order to support the team and service consumers in a timely
manner and ability to learn and understand the introduction of new
technologies.-Agile implementation experience strongly preferred.-Communicates
well up, down, and across the organization.-Ability to write effectively for a
variety of audiences in appropriate language.-Responds to changing demands and
priorities.-Knowledge of webIT environment or a quick learner of integrated
infrastructure solutions-Ability to consistently deliver high quality results
and manage multiple priorities.-Must possess exceptional leadership, people
management, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, both
written and verbal.-Ability to anticipate and build contingency staffing
plans.-Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing large-
scale enterprise based program implementations through all stages of the
program development life-cycle, from requirements gathering to
production.-Experience of working in a fast moving environment and the ability
to handle various tasks at once.-Proficient in MS Office tools including MS
Project.-Articulates ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings,
adjusting the message to match the audience.-Experience managing consulting
and off-shore employees, including staffing, training, coordinating,
organizing, monitoring, and coaching.-General knowledge of Web fundamentals,
concepts, and technologies.-Demonstrated track record of successfully planning
and managing large-scale enterprise based program implementations through all
stages of the program development life-cycle, from requirements gathering to
