Description
We are looking for experienced private equity and hedge fund accounting and financial reporting professionals to join our Tri-State practice. The ideal candidate has 8 - 15 years of private equity experience; additional experience in public accounting and/or large consulting firms is a plus. 4-year bachelor degree required; CPA, MBA or Masters of Accounting strongly preferred. Candidate should have the ability to multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency and meet reporting deadlines.
Professional Qualifications:
* Significant experience in private equity or hedge fund financial reporting, including quarterly and annual financial reports, cash management, and liquidity analysis
* Significant experience in private equity or hedge fund accounting, including consolidation analysis, reconciliations, and month-end close
* Strong partnership allocation calculation experience, including waterfall modeling and calculations
* Significant experience with complex products and structures
* Financial planning and analysis
* Experience with capital calls and distribution management
* Advanced proficiency in Excel
* Experience using partnership accounting systems (e.g., Investran, Advent) is a plus
* Experience interpreting fund agreements is a plus
