          JOB SUMMARY:
          The IT Project Manager is accountable for managing all detailed components of major IT related projects. This includes managing scope definition, tasks, scheduling, resources, risk mitigation, implementation, and communication. It also includes organizing and managing all IT capital requests during the budget cycle from initial requests by users through the approval process and project initiation. Also responsible for project budgets including managing and tracking project quotes, ordering and payment of invoices for IT capital and operating requests. Works in collaboration with all IT project teams and project stakeholders.

          ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
          Leads and manages all project activities of resources involved in major IT projects including requesting users, IT personnel, and other impacted department personnel.
          Ensures DKH priorities are met by coordinating resources based on project needs and requirements. Works closely with users on project coordination that may affect systems/applications. Designates appropriate service levels needed for project.
          Participates in decision making process for the design, selection, and implementation of project related hardware and software components; works with vendors providing required components.
          Manages IT capital request process ensuring adherence to policy and to system automation priorities; documents and presents all requests to IT Steering Committee for approval.
          Tracks and monitors all IT project requests, large or small, from initiation to delivery, including schedule, status, and budget. Presents status to project stakeholders and executives.
          Communicates status of all projects to stakeholders and executive management. Documents GANTT charts for major projects.
          Other duties as assigned.
          QUALIFICATIONS:
          Education:
          oBachelor’s degree in information systems or a health related field preferred
          oProject Management Professional (PMP) preferred

          Experience:
          o3 - 5 years project management experience required
          o2 - 4 years IT project management experience preferred
          oHealthcare experience preferred
          oBudget management experience preferred
          oExperience managing multiple small and large projects simultaneously required
          oExperience using project management tools required
          oExperience using Microsoft Project and GANTT chart production preferred
          oExperience using other Microsoft Office Suite components (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
