ABOUT THE POSITION
The EnviroScience group is currently looking for afull-time Environmental Technician IIin ourManchester, CToffice to perform inspections for asbestos, lead paint and other hazardous materials.
Responsibilities:
Under supervision, perform monitoring work, collect air, wipe and bulk samples for asbestos radon and lead analysis; operate industrial hygiene equipment, prepare drawings and routine reports and administrative and maintenance tasks.
Position Requirements:
* Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related degree
* At least 1 year of relevant experienc
* Current Connecticut Asbestos Project Monitor Licenses Required
* Current Connecticut Asbestos Inspector and/or CT Lead Inspector/risk assessor preferred.
