HartfordHospital is home to a hybrid operating room, the first of its kind in Connecticut. The model design for the OR is both CORE and Cluster based. The CORE runs 24/7 and supports general surgery, traumas, liver, kidney, GI, plastics, robotic, and oral surgeries. The Cluster supports Neurosurgery/Spine, Orthopedic/Total Joints, and Cardiothoracic/Peripheral Vascular. Our Neurosurgery and Spingsurgery clusters perform 1,400 cases per year.
Provides holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families and/or others for a patient population within a unit, service or other primary area of practice with an awareness of the episode of care. Applies the nursing process within the context of the organization's Framework for Professional Practice. Functions as clinically competent. Delegates and supervises work appropriately. Reports to Unit Manager.
RN CT License. RN Diploma, Associate Degree, BS in Nursing, or BS, BA( non- Nursing). Operating Room experience highly preferred.
