The primary function of this position is to design, develop and deploy business intelligence solutions that leverage data warehouse, BI reporting and analytic solutions.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Responsible for developing business intelligence solutions such as dynamic dashboards, scorecards, standardized reports & OLAP Solutions using IBM Cognos BI suites
Perform `Proof of Concepts' and subject matter expertise in business intelligence solution delivery
Adopt and communicate new concepts, ideas, techniques, best practices and technology assistance in BI space
Required Technical Skills:
Must have:
-Expert level skills in building Reports, Dynamic Dashboards, Scorecards using IBM Cognos
-Strong experience in multi-dimensional modeling techniques
-Strong experience in IBM Cognos BI Suite including use of Framework Modeling, Active Reports, Transformer Cubes, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio and Cognos Mashup Services
-Experience with JAVA development and Data Services development
-Expert level SQL skills against RDBMS such as Teradata and SqlServer
-Strong Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse foundation
WORK EXPERIENCE:
3 years experience in DW and BI environments
3+ years designing and building Business Intelligence solutions using information delivery suites such as cognos
Ability to work and effectively communicate with both the business and technical experts
Experience working in a matrixed organization.

Has a solid working knowledge of capabilities and direction of technology, coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the technology required and the needs of the business environment necessary to support assigned projects.
Skilled at identifying flat areas and providing feedback to employees for performance improvement.
OTHER:
Familiarity with visual design concepts for dashboards is a strong plus
Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge in business/financial systems and processes.
Possesses a high and extensive level of technical skills, database software applications
Experience implementing BI solutions using Agile methodology is a plus
