          individual at a time.The incumbent will form part of the Global Brand area and
          will be part of the team that holds responsibility for the leadership and
          execution of the corporation’s brand strategy; working closely with the US and
          International division in the development of not only advertising campaigns,
          but brand building itself from start to finish.  This individual will help to
          develop and drive understanding of the Brand Roadmap and governance process as
          well as assist with implementation of key initiatives across relevant
          audiences (eg individual consumers, clients, brokers, influencers, MDs and
          clinical and the entire employee base).As the brand matures develops; this
          individual will lead efforts together with the Sr. Director with the
          assessing, planning, monitoring, evaluating and reporting on projects related
          to, but not limited to brand management.  This will apply specifically as the
          overall Brand evolves from strictly an awareness building campaign to other
          types of advertising including DRTV, Radio, B2B, etc. Key to success will be
          working closely with all relevant internal partners including internal
          communications, operations, International and domestic business units and
          externally with advertising agencies and other service providers.  The
          individual will help at the Enterprise/Global level with the identification of
          opportunities within and across our global business units to partner/cross-
          sell and share best practices as well as serving as a responsible manager for
          brand initiatives that partner with events and sponsorships, leading responses
          to internal branding questions and processes as well as the maturing of
          measures of progress such as brand health and awareness.This position requires
          brand management experience, strong project management, analytical,
          communication and organizational skills.  Past or current experience with CPG
          or other relevant brand building and implementation, especially within a
          traditional B2B environment that is transitioning to a B2C, would be of great
          relevance. Also useful would be demonstrated ability to develop 360 degree
          campaigns that include digital and social components.DUTIES AND
          RESPONSIBILITIESAssist Sr. Director with the development and implementation of
          the global vision for the Cigna Brand as well as leading with direct project
          management regarding corporate expansion into new geographies, priority
          markets and with new acquisitionsManages end to end multiple strategic large
          scale projects with multi-country components, and process initiatives within
          Brand Management.  Ensures alignment with short and long term division brand
          strategy and objectivesDevelopment, implement and manage an ongoing Brand
          Governance process and new measures to ensure effectiveness of communication
          efforts such as Brand Health, including leadership across business units and
          divisions at the Enterprise level to bring relevant change to efforts that
          will build equity in our Brand at a global level.Manages resolution of issues
          and incorporates relevant changes into Brand initiatives.  Will need to
          collaborate with multiple matrix partners to drive to implement initiatives
          and at the same time move to addressand resolve business process and technical
          barriers impeding successful execution.Develops and manages work plans and
          strategic relationships that consider the priorities, key milestones, time
          estimates, task sequencing and identification of tasks that may be performed
          concurrently to achieve objectives.Develops and implements reporting
          mechanisms to ensure the timely delivery of results and control over
          budget.Identifies and works to remove barriers that slow or prevent the
          successful attainment of key initiatives.Report results and issues to
          appropriate audiences including key business leaders and team members.Ensures
          appropriate use of tools to track and monitor the performance of assigned
          projectsProvides constant, ongoing communication with line operations and
          management as appropriate to ensure barriers/obstacles to continuous process
          improvement are removed and necessary support is always providedIDEAL
          CANDIDATES WILL OFFERBachelors Degree, MBA preferredHealth care experience a
          plus, CPG or financial services experience preferredMinimum of 10+ years
          overall marketing experience, inclusive of 3+ years of Brand
          Management/Advertising experience.  International advertising and experience a
          plus, especially multi-cultural marketing either in the US or
          globally.Experience managing external agencies in marketing efforts with
          candidates having 360 degree campaign development and implementation,
          including digital and social marketingManaged healthcare experience
          preferredAbility to drive results, and think strategically and implement at an
          enterprise level in a highly diverse and multi-cultural corporate
          environmentAbility to foster collaboration, value others perspectives and gain
          support and buy-in for organizational proposalsExcellent oral and written
          communication skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsProven ability
